Save a few bucks with online shopping

Most of us are hurting this year, but it doesn’t always mean you have to nix Christmas entirely this year. There are lots of good places to shop that you can get great deals on new and lightly used items this year. In this article I will give you some tips in shopping and getting a good deal. It may be too late to ship something, however you can use these tips everyday to get the best deal. First of you might want to check out what people have for sale locally. Two sites have emerged that allow people to post things for sale in their home towns for free. The first is craigslist which was established by Craig in San Fransisco the website is relatively simple having you only have a valid email to use. All the email accounts are then converted to craigslist emails for safety and anonymity. On the site you will see categories, jobs, events, and even a place for people to post rants. In the for sale section you will see plenty to shop for, most of it used but in good shape.

Next on the list is a similar website, Kajiji. Kijiji is ebay’s attempt at a craigslist clone. The interface isnt simple, but the listings are must better looking. This service is also free and has a lot more features. Though not as many people use this as craigslist.

If you want something new or are searching for something specific you could always look on websites for their recertified or open-box items. Websites such as crutchfield.com, newegg.com and amazon.com have an open box secion as well as a recertified section. Recent statistics show most electronics are returned defective because the person who bought them simply does not know how to use the device.

You can also score deals on the websites that are dedicated to selling one product a day until they run out. These websites get great deals on items by buying up the product for sale in question in bulk to save money. Websites like woot.com have become very popular for these items.

Other places look for deals every day and list them such as slickdeals.net

If all else fails you can try going to GOOGLE Shopping to help you find the best deal on the new product you want. I hope this information helps you save a bit of money in the long run.

  1. Using coupon codes is a great way to save money. I like to recommend KindCoupons.org for more coupon codes.
